Omelets in a Bag Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Crack eggs into a zip lock bag and squeeze the bag with your hands to mix the eggs together.
  3. Add meat, cheese, veggies, salt, and pepper to the bag. Squeeze out extra air and seal the bag. If desired, you can label each bag with a permanent marker with the name of the recipient.
  4. Place up to 6 bags of omelets in the boiling water at a time. Boil omelets until thoroughly cooked, about 13-15 minutes. Remove bags with tongs and set on a paper towel. Carefully open the hot bag and place the omelet on a plate.
