| 6 Oakdell cage-free eggs |
| 6 slices Texas Toast |
| 1/2 cup softened butter |
| 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
| 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
Egg Heart in Toast Directions
- Add butter, parmesan, and garlic powder to a medium bowl. Mix together until smooth.
- Press a cookie cutter into the center of each slice of bread and remove the centers.
- Spread the butter mixture over 1 side of each slice of bread and the cutout.
- Place the bread, buttered side down, in a large non-stick skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until crispy, about 2 minutes. Flip over and spread the butter mixture over the top and crack an egg into the hole of the bread. Turn down the heat to medium and cover with a lid. Cook until the egg is cooked through, about 2 minutes.
